Missing from her bio is the fact that she was once married to conservative Republican politician and film producer Michael Huffington, who started a trend followed by many more politicians in recent years when he revealed his latent homosexuality in 1988. Ms. Huffington had been known as a stalwart conservative until a few years after this bombshell was dropped, and unknown events seemed to turn her into the “progressive” pundit we all know today.
Huffington has made guest appearances on numerous television shows, including “Charlie Rose,” “Oprah,” “Nightline,” “Real Time with Bill Maher,” “Inside Politics,” “Larry King Live,” “Hardball,” “Good Morning America,” the “Today” show, “Countdown” and “The O’Reilly Factor.”
