With the Democratic Primary becoming this season’s longest-running television sitcom, speculation has turned towards who might offer the most traction to either a Clinton or an Obama ticket. At the most recent debate, both candidates appeared to back away from the suggestion that they be willing to run together as a dream team. Speculation is not limited to the Democratic side, of course… with McCain’s nomination secured, he appears to be biding his time and won’t send out signals regarding his potential pick one way or another. Of course, this hasn’t prevented Florida Governor Charlie Crist from auditioning for the role, or Mitt Romney from begging for a VP nod.
